Question: How to configure Ethernet on Dock

Just got my Vocore yesterday and use the manual to connect to the AP over wifi. Worked perfectly.

What I would like to be able to do is connect using the Ethernet port on the dock to my router so I can install more software on the Vocore and have it network enabled.

Is there a guide or details somewhere on how to change the network file, or which other file that needs modifying to make this happen.
dhcp over Ethernet would work for me.

I'm not really interested in using the Vocore as an AP, more as a small python capable computer with GPIO/SPI/I2C connectivity.
Love that I can power it from my computers USB port.

Vocore current status: cannot connect over network as changed network file so AP not working anymore.
I know to use the serial connection to get back in and luckily I copied the network file before changing it so all will be right in the world again once I'm in.

By default VoCore does not accept SSH or HTTP connections on the Ethernet interface. VoCore is configured as if it was an internet router, with the WiFi interface in your home network (LAN zone) and the Ethernet interface connected to the internet (WAN zone). This does not match how a VoCore is likely to be used in practice, and I think it makes more sense to put both interfaces in the LAN zone. This is easy to do via the Network Firewall configuration page of the LuCI web interface, as long as you have network access. It ought to be possible to achieve the same result by editing the configuration files directly but that is less user-friendly.
