Newbie - What do I need to get started?

Wow, this thing is really small.
I ordered 2 to play round with, but the pin header pitch is TINY, so concerned about soldering already.

Can anyone tell me what I will absolutely need to get started?
I have a temperature controlled soldering iron.

What do I buy for pin headers, and typical prototyping connector cables?
I see photos with some sort of clips that connect to the vias at the edge of boards?

Any help appreciated.

I LOVE the idea of this thing. So compact, with great feature set.

One more thing:
Does the 'VoCore + Dock' purchase option come with pin headers soldered on?
This sort of info would be really useful on the sales page...

Just practice and more practice :) I broken about 100USD boards when I learn solder(tutorial video from youtube.com), but I think it is worth. Get some cheap boards and try first, for example, broken mouse, keyboard, outdated computer main board etc.
If you do not make some mistake, you will never learn.

I have some practice with soldering.

I was really wondering where to get pin headers for example. None came with my 2 boards. (Is that normal?)

Anyhow, I found some locally in Australia: http://au.rs-online.com/web/p/pcb-headers/7457135/
Getting 100 pins-worth for around $15 delivered. Seems reasonable (until you realise it's almost as much as a VoCore itself...)

That is normal. :) Pins have send out.

You can get cheap pins from aliexpress.com. 50P x 10 1.27 female connector only 5USD (free of ship), enough for most usage.
