The default vocore installation points to an opkg directory that no longer exits!! It now has sub branches, seehttps://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/trunk/ramips/ and I've tried generic with no luck. Trying to install python but it's not working

Hi, you can use the official firmware from openwrt, https://downloads.openwrt.org/barrier_b ... pgrade.bin

use sysupgrade [bin file]. Update your vocore, then every pkg will work.

There are other problems that can crop up if you use packages from a build that is different from the image you have on your VoCore.
