I Upgrade my VoCore2 Ultimate to LEDE

How can it fix it?

you can connect to it by USB2TTL.

How did that solved the problem ? Wifi is disabled by default on LEDE, 192.168.1.1 default adress or USB2TTL.

What is your experience with lede versus openwrt for your VoCore2?
more support for the ui or still having to use console to configure your device?

LEDE do not have MTK wifi driver, so the speed is very low, we have to keep using console for a while.

can't you guys get the driver? it is floating around in china mtk based hardware circles, so anybody with connections in china would be able to get it, i would imagine. i am really surprised that the vocore guy are not able to get it, with their connections it seems like a matter of asking...
the onion guys do have it, for sure, perhaps, if somebody asks them nicely they would share...

We have the source of the wifi driver, but it is not open source.

A) LEDE:
I understood wifi is not available on LEDE, right?
I am looking for "monitor mode" support for ra0 interface.
There is a post in the forum that says LEDE driver supports "monitor mode".
b) OpenWrt CC:
I downloaded OpenWrt source, selected the appropriate packages, compiled everything. Installed new image (sysupgrade) and package dependencies. Tried to activate monitor mode and failed:
# iwconfig ra0 mode monitor
Error for wireless request "Set Mode" (8B06) :
SET failed on device ra0 ; Operation not supported.
Any clue?
