VoCore2 keeps rebooting, seems broken

Hi All,
Received my VoCore2 last week and went straight trying it. In the beginning all seems OK. I even got it connected to my home wifi. Because I had some issues with the MAC addresses of the bridge interface (my Juniper router was learning the interface MAC, while the VoCore's IP (dhcp) was on the bridge). Then I made some network configuration change through the GUI and then I was unable to reach it anymore. Then I managed to connect to it by console. I noticed that it was rebooting all the time. Yesterday I managed to boot in failsafe mode, which seems to prevent the rebooting. Then I was able to connect a USB drive with the lastest bin file (20161224.bin); I then copied the file to /tmp/20161224.bin and did a full re-install as mentioned on this website: mtd -e firmware write /tmp/20161224.bin firmware
Then after 30min it was still at "Erasing firmware":

Even console didn't respond anymore so I reboot it, which of course I expected not to work:

So I executed the steps under "Fix Bricked VoCore2 (uboot alive)", this worked as far that it did boot again. But unfortunately it didn't help to prevent the rebooting.
Full bootlog not attached because I'm unable to attach .txt/.log files, from the moment I started the recover procedure with kermit So I'll post it below. After flashing, it does a soft reset and the boot starts, all the way to the end (hostname). Then after couple of seconds it says done and starts the restart. That specific part is shown below:

I hope someone can help me in finding the solution, because it made me not being able to use this great device from the moment I received it.
