Dev Board!

Mon May 01, 2017 12:26 am

VoCore aficionados:

It is with pleasure that I present the VoCore2 Development Board! Thanks to the tireless efforts of JYC, a breadboard compatible board has been created! It has all the bells and whistles you'd expect from a JYC design.

Pictured is the first iteration (rev A) of the VoCore2 Development Board. We have found several enhancements that will be included in rev B. We will gladly release this for sale, please stay tuned for more information. (Though replying that you would be interested in purchasing one wouldn't hurt :D )

    ESD Protection (rev B)
UART to microUSB (for serial comms, rev B)
    microUSB powered
Selectable offset power-rails (rev B) -- will allow a greater range of breadboards to interface seamlessly with the Dev Board, voltage either 5 or 3.3

We've just finalized the rev B board, and we're going to do a test run here in the next week or so. Once we get them in and they work as expected we'll start selling to the public. I'll post an update when we get the test boards.

How many would you be interested in purchasing?
