Thank you!
It will get soldered and packed right now, tomorrow around 6:30 i will give it to the big letter-eating ton-monster (aka the local letter collection bin). Would appreciate some feedback, maybe also when it arrives (just curious how long it will take to be delivered that distance) :)

Wow, nice!
I am praying for days that the packets to US will arrive - US customs are a bit random in their behaviour ^^

Looking forward to see some pictures of your projects :)

I placed the VoCore upside down on the back of the board, and it fits well.. It looks like I need to solder it onto the breakout board using the supplied pin headers.. but the sizes do not match the number of pins, do I need to cut the pin headers? Also, I would rather have pin headers for the breakout groups than the optional socket headers.

Yes, you need to cut them. The socket headers should be soldered on the breakout board - you can then deattach the VoCore if wanted.
The other pin headers are normal 0.100" (2.54mm) headers and can be ordered literally everywhere. I apologyze if i haven't mentioned that clearly on the tindie-page :(

I thought that was a description of the pins it came with.. It's okay, I just dont know much about this stuff yet :)

I haven't soldered in a long time, but I got acceptable results with 0.015" silver bearing solder. I tried rosin-core first but ended up making a mess on the 3.3v pin. The corner was a bit tricky, too.. I only have a set of fingernail clippers to cut. I wasn't able to cut the socket headers so I did it like this. The pins are a tight fit into the VoCore and most of the gpio seem to have a good connection just by placing it on the pins, but I may solder it at some point.

But I still have to use a battery because my 3.5-6v pins are burned out :(
I want to add a female battery connector and a micro-usb connector.. Could it be easily done?

Do you want to use the additional usb micro jack for USB connection? i think if you want to use USB you have to take a USB A jack, means the normal jack you can but usb sticks in.

The female battery connector can be connected to the 3V3_OUT and GND pins - although i do not have a exact clue what a female battery connector looks like :)
