hello,
I was wondering about the implications of connecting a plain USB cable to the vocore.
There were those PC mainboards infamous for their ports breaking under normal use because they lacked some protective circuit. You could purchase as a black brick which you connected between the mainboard and the USB cable and it was supposed to resolve all your problems with fried USB ports.
What were the mainboards missing? Are you going to need some additional parts to operate the vocore USB port reliably?
Thanks
USB input protection?

Re: USB input protection?
USB do not need any addition parts.
USB 5V, GND, D+, D-, data transfer only use D+, D-, GND, connect the three to your PC or other USB compatible device, it will work.
There is dock sch in vocore.io/wiki, you can find information there.
