VoCore 1 sec timer "digital watch"

I designed robotic telescope using AVR based robot.
Now want to port, build on VoCore as can have WiFi link with telescope.

I need time in 1 (one) or seconds steps to calculate RA/DE from having sideral time - digital "watch".

Any directions where to look for ? Did any one already did it ??? I mean made digital "watch" ??

I am new to VoCore ... I used to use SGI Indy, still have R5000 to play with.
