USB-cable connector failure

Hello,

the VoCam264 FHD cable connection between the two pcbs is broken. Its broken at the bottom side of the camera pcb. There must be a small black part to secure the connection between the cable and the cable connector. Somehow this part isn't there anymore.

What can I do to repair the usb-cable connection?

I just tried some ways, and here is safest way:
1. heat connector off
2. pull metal off
3. put cover on
4. put metal on


of course you can bend cover plastic, then pull it in. it might break cover plastic.

Emm, I should mention the connector only have 20 times life cycle and intend not to move once you get it.
