continuous 1080p @30hz h264 operation

Hello!
I just purchased a few vocoreV2 and vocore cam to test them.

I understand that the camera is using an ov2710 image sensor with a sonix camera controller (SN9C291B ?).

I want to replace some bulkier cameras from ELP with this camera. The cameras I want to replace also use a sonix chip so it should be compatible.

I m concerned about the temperature of the chip (see comment on post http://vonger.cn/?p=1904 about max temperature). I need the cameras to operate for long time in h264 1080p 30fps. I configure them for I frames only and very moderate bitrate.
Will I need a passive heatsink? an active one with fan?

Also, if this hardware is open source, can I have access to kicad project please?

Hi, this camera is not opensource, if 1080p 30fps better to have a big heatsink or fan. Or it will have some noise when light is low.
