Options to reduce power demand of VoCore2?

I am very happy with VoCore2 in general, which is the backbone of my Meteobridge PRO2 product line https://www.meteobridge.com/wiki/index.php/Meteobridge_PRO2.
As some of my resellers are probing with powering the units with PV a reduction of power demand of the VoCore2 would be very helpful.

I think into the following directions:
  • switching off WiFi (can I disable the MTK WiFi completely in some way? I would like to have it switched on/off, if a reboot is necessary no problem)
  • turning off the red LED (can I reach the LED via the typical /sys/class/... directory interface?)
  • can I disable USB section of the MTK somehow?
  • can I disable LAN section of the MTK somehow?
  • can I reduce clock speed?

I know that the MTK SOC has some switches to configure use of internal/external antenna and setting power limits for WiFI, but I am not completely sure how to make best use of it.

Any hint is very welcome. Thanks.

call wifi off in command line can power off it.
or in /etc/config/wireless directly disable it.
Rest way will not reduce much power.
